University Of Arizona Opens New Mining Law School

Students interested in mining law have a new place to study it. Starting this semester, the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona established the Global Mining Law Center.

It will include courses on intellectual property, workplace safety and water law. This is part of a growing trend of specialized programs within law schools.

James Greif with the Association of American Law Schools provided insight on the trend.
