On Wednesday, attorney Tom Ryan filed a complaint related to conflict of interest charges involving Arizona Corporation Commission Chair Susan Bitter Smith.
The commission has also been involved in conflicts related to text messages sent by Commissioner Bob Stump. And there have been concerns that Arizona Public Service may have been heavily involved in last fall’s Corporation Commission election.
We talked about the controversies with Jim Holway, who was a Democratic candidate for the commission in November and a member of the Central Arizona Project Board, and Republican political consultant Shane Wikfors.
