Guitarist Nils Lofgren started in the music business as the leader of the band Grin in the late 1960s. He went on to work with Neil Young when he was a teenager. When he’s not putting together solo albums, he’s a member of the E Street Band with Bruce Springsteen, which he’s been doing for more than 30 years.
Lofgren’s career arc is on full display on his box set, Face the Music, which features him from the raw teen years to the present. And he’s still going strong on stage.
