One major part of immigration reform in the United States that hasn’t received as much attention lately — in the wake of presidential candidates talking about border fences and deportations — is the economic impact of agricultural workers.
Philip Martin, chair of the Comparative Immigration and Integration Program at the University of California-Davis, and Paul Brierley, who leads the University of Arizona's Yuma Center of Excellence for Desert Agriculture in Yuma, explained the issue.
