Investigation Finds Little Regulation Of Families Who Homeschool Kids

A recent investigation published in ProPublica and Slate looks at the relative lack of regulation of families that homeschool their kids.

The piece was written by Jessica Huseman, a fellow at the Teacher Project at the Columbia Journalism School.

Huseman referenced the rules in Arizona - Sylvia Miller has some experience with them. She homeschools her three kids who are in first, fourth and sixth grades. This is her seventh year of homeschooling. She is also a part of the group Home Educators of Central Phoenix.
