Following its most recent meeting, the Arizona Board of Regents decided to ask the state legislature for additional funding for public universities—with a particular focus on in-state students.
Since the Great Recession, lawmakers have not been inclined to restore money Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University and the University of Arizona had been receiving.
