Maricopa County has been in the thick of economic development and trying to compete at the highest levels with some of the most powerful places in the country—including Silicon Valley and parts of Texas.
But, Pima County also realizes it needs to take hold of some opportunities or risk falling behind. John Moffatt, director of strategic planning for Pima County, explained what some of Pima County’s strengths in economic development are and what it needs to be done better.
