Mesa has re-branded a section of the city. The 35 square-mile area around Falcon Field in Northeast Mesa is now known as the Falcon District.
It’s the result of a commission that a year ago was tasked with making the area more visible and increasing its economic viability. Jaye O’Donnell, deputy director of Mesa’s Office of Economic Development explained how the brand has changed.
