Report: Medicaid Enrollment, Spending Both Up

Enrollment in and spending on Medicaid programs both increased during this past fiscal year, according to new research from the Kaiser Family Foundation.

The group released a set of new reportsThursday looking at spending trends as well as policy changes made both in states that did expand their Medicaid programs, like Arizona, and those that did not. Robin Rudowitz is an associate director for the Kaiser Commission on Medicaid and the Uninsured, which is part of the Kaiser Family Foundation. Rudowitz spoke about the report.
