Phoenix Hosts First Native American Conference On Alzheimer's, Dementia

Representatives of approximately 45 different Native American tribal communities will be in Phoenix this week for the first National Native American Conference on Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia.

The event is hosted by Banner Alzheimer’s Institute. Nicole Lomay is a community outreach representative for the institute’s Native American Outreach Program. Lomay explained the need for a conference like this.
