Grand Canyon's South Kaibab Trail.

A portion of a water pipeline in the Grand Canyon National Park will be shut off starting Sunday.

Drinking water will be unavailable at Bright Angel and Cottonwood campgrounds, as well as at the Roaring Springs and Manzanita rest areas. Construction on the Transcanyon Pipeline at Phantom Ranch is expected to last through the end of next week.

There will still be access to drinking water on the South and North rims thanks to a water storage system.
