6,000 Federal Prisoners Set Free After Sentencing Guidelines Change

Between Friday and Monday, 6,000 federal prisoners are set to be released from prison, under new guidelines from the U.S. Sentencing Commission.

The Bureau of Prisons said approximately 40 of those prisoners are in Arizona. Marie Sullivan, president and CEO of Arizona Women's Education and Employment spoke about what they'll face once they are released and efforts to ease their transitions.
