Phoenix’s Sky Harbor airport has been affected by the active shooter situation in San Diego. At least one flight as has been delayed after the Federal Aviation Administration stopped all arrivals in San Diego
Two other flights that were en route to San Diego were diverted to Phoenix.
The Federal Aviation Administration halted all landings at the costal airport after a man with a high-powered gun was firing sporadically inside an apartment complex located under the airport’s approach path.
Departures from San Diego are not affected, and the investigation continues.
