Arizona Medical Board Implements New Rules On Physician Licensing

The Arizona Medical Board has approved new rules, which it said will improve the process for licensing physicians in the state.

Over the past several months the board has come under scrutiny, first for not enough oversight of doctors applying for licenses, and then for taking too long to license them. Pat McSorley is the Medical Board’s executive director.
