The holiday season is coming, bringing jobs and employment with it. Amazon Fulfillment Centers in the Valley are hiring workers to help with the online shopping holiday rush.

Amazon is adding over 100,000 jobs across the U.S., with thousands of them located at fulfillment centers in Phoenix and Goodyear.

“We hold millions and millions of products in our buildings and that number increases as we head in to the holiday season,” said Ashley Robinson of Amazon. “We’ll have thousands of seasonal associates and full time associates helping to fill those customer orders.”

Anywhere from 10,000 to 20,000 jobs are expected to be added to the local economy due to seasonal gains, according to Doug Walls with Arizona’s Office of Employment and Population Statistics.
