As Foreign Companies Farm In La Paz County, Officials Ask For Help Regulating Groundwater

Foreign companies have been coming into La Paz County, in western Arizona, and setting up farming operations.

Some county officials are concerned the lack of groundwater regulations there could pose a problem for residents. La Paz County Supervisor Holly Irwin is one of those who’s worried. She explained the issue.
