The ACLU of Arizona released a mobile app Friday which allows residents to record encounters with police, among other functions.

The group has already unveiled the "Mobile Justice" app in other states, including California, Oregon and Colorado.

We talked about the new app with Steve Kilar, communications director for the ACLU of Arizona.

For a sense of what law enforcement officers think about the new app, we talked to Jeff Hynes - he’s a former Phoenix police commander and currently teaches at both Glendale Community College and ASU.
