Chilly Weather In Phoenix, Big Drop From Last Year's Record High

Some Valley residents woke up today to frost and ice on their windshield-- a big difference from last year when Phoenix reached a record high temperture at 87-degrees. That's 25 degrees above normal.

Valerie Meyers from the National Weather Service said, “We are looking at temperatures that are definitely below normal for this time of year. And our low temperatures are running about anywhere from eight to ten degrees below normal right now."

Meyers says Valley residents can expect these below average temps throughout the weekend. Temperatures are not expected to reach out of the low to mid-60’s.
