Valley of the Sun United Way is trying to make sure Central High School students stay on track to get their diplomas.
The Graduation Destination program matches volunteer mentors with students to identify their needs and get them additional support. Alexis Guzman, who is a 2015 graduate of Central High, spoke about the program. He’s now enrolled at the Maricopa Skill Center. Michelle Donati, who works at AAA-Arizona, also spoke. She is in her fourth year of mentoring.
