The so-called Godfather of Arizona sports has taken a new position at the age of 76.
Jerry Colangelo, former managing partner of both the Phoenix Suns and the Arizona Diamondbacks, is the new chairman of the board for the NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers. The Suns missed the playoffs for the past five seasons, and some wondered why Colangelo wasn’t being utilized by the organization.
