Ever dream of being an astronaut? Now is your chance — NASA is accepting applications for aspiring space travelers.
NASA is looking for engineers, scientists and mathematicians to work on several space exploration projects, including the International Space Station and NASA’s Orion deep-space exploration vehicle, according to a Dec. 14 press release.

“Some people would be surprised to learn they might have what it takes. We want and need a diverse mix of individuals to ensure we have the best astronaut corps possible," said Brian Kelly, director of Flight Operations at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, in a press release.
The agency is accepting applications for the Houston-based job through Feb. 18, 2016, but final candidates won't be revealed until mid-2017.
