Major League Baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred seemed to close the door very tightly Monday with his ruling that all-time hits leader Pete Rose wouldn’t be reinstated to the game.
Rose has admitted betting on baseball while he was managing the Cincinnati Reds, the biggest no-no the sport has. Jacob Pomrenke, director of editorial content for the Society of American Baseball Research, spoke about the issue.
