A trial date has been set for the Mesa man charged with killing one person and wounding five others in a shooting spree last March.
Ryan Giroux faces charges in a connection with a series of shootings, carjacking and a home invasion.
He pled not guilty to murder, aggravated assault and other charges in the March 18 shootings.
The rampage began at a motel where three people were shot. Another person was shot at a nearby restaurant; two more were then shot at two apartment complexes.
Police say Giroux was arrested after he barricaded himself in an apartment.
