Arizona Supreme Court Will Not Hear Former Corporation Commissioner's Case

The Arizona Supreme Court Tuesday declined to hear the case of a corporation commissioner who recently resigned.

Former commission Chair Susan Bitter Smith wanted the court to take up the matter, in which Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich asked the justices to remove her from office over an alleged conflict of interest. Bitter Smith’s resignation from the panel became effective Monday. KJZZ’s Will Stone, who’s been covering the issue, spoke about it.
