Phoenix residents could see an increase in their water bills this year.
On Wednesday, Phoenix City Council members will consider a proposed rate hike for the city’s utilities — 3 percent for water and 2 percent for sewer. That would translate into an extra $1.59 a month for the typical customer.
The council is expected to vote on the matter after hearing public comments.
