The Marcos de Niza High School football team played in the state championships for their division last season. One of their standout players is Krysten Muir – a 16-year-old girl who is the kicker for the varsity team.
Muir spoke about her athletic career. She has a 92 percent accuracy rate when kicking extra points, and she scored 67 points in 2015. She also trains with Max Zendejas, a former NFL kicker.
