A California company has announced plans to buy a Valley gun maker.
In a news release, Industry Armament pledges to clear back orders, invest in new equipment and expand the production facility currently used by Scottsdale-based Predator Tactical.
In 2010, professional shooter Matt Burkett founded Predator Tactical and the company became known for its 1911-style pistol model.
Burkett will join Industry Armament as an advisor. The deal’s expected to close this quarter.
