Phoenix currently has 10 sister cities, but it’s been several years since it’s added a new one.
The city is looking to add an 11th sister city, and among those in consideration is a city in India after members of Phoenix’s Indian-American community expressed an interest in building that relationship.
Paula West is director of Phoenix’s International Relations Office and president and CEO of Phoenix Sister Cities. West explained how cities get chosen to become sister cities with Phoenix.
