Artist Betye Saar has been creating art for more than six decades with big themes that have included nostalgia, mysticism, politics and race.
Now at the age of 89, she’ll be presenting her first solo show at an American museum in five years. It’s opening at the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art this week. The exhibition is called Still Tickin’.
