Tucson’s food scene has gotten some international recognition. The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, or UNESCO, has added Tucson to its creative cities network.
It’s the only American city to be on the list for gastronomy.
Gary Nabhan, director of the Center for Regional Food Studies at the University of Arizona spoke about what the designation means.
