Canadian Businesses Open More US Offices In Arizona

Arizona has long been a destination for Canadians, often during the winter. But more and more Canadian companies are opening U.S. operations here.

St. Clair Technologies is one of them. The Ontario-based firm manufactures wire harnesses and has been in operation for 65 years. For the past three, the company’s executive staff has been based in Chandler. Charlie Hess is the firm’s president. He spoke about the move to Arizona.

A report done by the Maricopa Association of Governments found more Canadian businesses in Arizona than those from any other foreign country. Glenn Williamson, CEO of the Canada Arizona Business Council, spoke about how common is it for Canadian firms to outsource in Arizona.
