Governor Doug Ducey has moved to create a new office that’s intended to streamline economic development and the marketing of Arizona domestically and internationally.
The new Governor's Economic Opportunity Office will bring about 50 staffers from several agencies together and will be led by Arizona Commerce Authority head Sandra Watson. Economist Jim Rounds, president of Rounds Consulting Group, spoke about the change.
