Last night was music’s big night at the 58th Grammy’s in Los Angeles. At least one statue is heading home to Phoenix.
The Phoenix Chorale won a Grammy for “Best Choral Performance” for their recording of Rachmaninoff: All Night Vigil. They recorded the piece with the Kansas City Chorale, and all together it’s 75 minutes long. Each piece is based on a chant.
Artistic director Charles Bruffy spoke about the piece.
