An Arizona Senate committee is expected Tuesday to take up a bill that would set regulations for drone use in the state. Up until now, the issue had mostly been decided on the city or town level.

State Senator John Kavanagh is the main sponsor of Senate Bill 1449. He spoke about why it was important to set regulations on the state level.
