What does an art museum do when it suspects one of its works is a fake? In the case of the ASU Art Museum, it turns that into an exhibit.

“Superflex: Superfake/The Parley” involves the Danish artist collective Superflex and looks at a “questionable” painting in the museum’s collection, allegedly by Frederic Remington. As it turns out, the piece is a copy of Remington’s work, called “The Parley.”

Julio Cesar Morales, a curator at the ASU Art Museum, spoke about the piece.
