Arizona Workforce Development Changes Name To Arizona@Work

The public-private partnership in charge of helping Arizona’s unemployed residents find work has a new name. Arizona Workforce Development is now simply known as Arizona@Work.

The Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES) unveiled its rebrand Wednesday in an effort to unify its statewide network.

DES Director Timothy Jeffries said the rebranding is part of an effort to bring together the state’s 12 regional areas and 47 local workforce offices under one new moniker.

Jeffries said Its ultimate goal is “helping strengthen Arizona’s economy” and better connect job seekers with employers.

The public-private endeavor is an arm of DES.

The newly-anointed Arizona@Work serves communities around the state, providing free assistance to employers and their prospective employees.
