Wednesday’s high temperature was 90 degrees, setting the record for the day. The average high temperature was 71.

Thursday, instead of feeling like May, it’ll only feel like mid-April. Meteorologist Chris Kuhlman, with the National Weather Service in Phoenix, spoke about why it’s been so hot.
