Saturday night unmanned aerial vehicle enthusiasts will gather in Phoenix for a race.

Pilots will be flying aerial multi-rotors, although they try to keep them fairly close to the ground.

Artist David Moquay is one of them. He got interested in drones a few years back when he needed a way to get a new camera angle for a documentary he was working on.

He spoke about how he went from using these machines for art to racing them.

The race is called the Phoenix Cup.
