Vino With A Click Of A Button: Arizona Moves Closer To Online Wine Sales

The Arizona Senate moved a Republican sponsored bill allowing Arizonans to order wine online or by phone from medium to large wineries.

It passed 26 to 2, with two senators not voting.

If the measure becomes law, it would allow Arizona wineries that produce more than 20,000 gallons of wine to ship directly to consumers.

As it stands, only small wineries can take orders by phone or e-mail. The bill now moves to the House.
