ASU Group Making Music ... With Laptops

Think about what you might use a laptop for: checking your email, searching the Internet, maybe writing your great American novel. For a group at Arizona State University, their laptops are musical instruments.

The Laptop Orchestra of Arizona State has been around for several years, and late last year they released an album, called “Nodes.” Justin Kennedy, a composer and co-director the Laptop Orchestra of Arizona State, and Althea Pergakis, a media artist, programmer and laptop musician, spoke about the orchestra.
