Between baseball, spring break and weather perfect for the outdoors, March is the busiest month of the year at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.
Airport spokeswoman Heather Lissner said an average of 140,000 visitors will pass through each day this month.
“That’s up about 30 percent from a normal day, and this is really due to spring break travel, people coming in to the state for NASCAR and spring training games," Lissner said.
Airport officials recommend getting to Sky Harbor a minimum of two hours before your flight. And a special reminder for baseball fans attending spring training games: as per TSA rules, souvenir bats are not permitted in carry-on luggage.
