The push is on to recognize that not every student has to graduate with a bachelor’s degree to be a productive worker and a member of the middle-class economically.
That has increased the focus on career and technical education. Bill Symonds, director of the Global Pathways Institute, spoke about the issue. Symonds is also a professor of practice at Arizona State University.
