Arizona’s Department of Economic Security has grabbed some uncomfortable headlines lately.
Last week, the job status of two DES employees was affected by the discovery that an 86-year-old woman related to one of the workers had been padlocked inside a Mesa house. This comes just as DES Director Tim Jeffries marks one year on the job.
