Pinal County Sheriff's Deputy Indicted On Child Sexual Conduct Charges

A veteran Pinal County sheriff’s deputy indicted on sexual conduct with a minor charges is now going to lose his job.

Scott Strobel worked as a deputy for 14 years. Early last week, a grand jury indicted Strobel on four counts of sexual conduct with a minor and an additional count of child luring.

Strobe allegedly had sexual contact with a 15 year old male in 2005.

A spokesman for the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office said the statute of limitations started when law enforcement was informed of the allegations last November. Strobel was handed his termination papers from the sheriff’s office on Thursday.
