The traditions of Native American music have been evident in American pop music for a century or more.
Often we may not notice or even realize those influences. That’s part of what drove Jeff Berglund to be one of the editors of the new book, "Indigenous Pop: Native American Music from Jazz to Hip Hop." Berglund spoke about the book.
