Early Ballots Are Coming In For Arizona Presidential Primary

Early ballots are already coming in for Arizona's March 22 presidential primary.

In Maricopa County, 1.3 million voters are eligible to vote in the primary, and two thirds of them received an early ballot in the mail. As of Friday afternoon, the Maricopa County Recorder's office had received 43 percent of early ballots back from Democratic voters and 42 percent from Republican voters.

Election officials recommend voters who received an early ballot mail back their ballots by Wednesday, March 16.  Voters can also turn ballots in on Election Day at any of the 60 polling locations in Maricopa County.
