Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders is holding a rally at the Phoenix Convention Center this evening, one week ahead of Arizona's Presidential Preference Election.
On Sunday, Sanders' wife Jane came to Arizona. She visited a campground near a proposed copper mine site that Apache tribal members vehemently oppose because they consider it sacred ground. On Monday, she met with families of immigrants outside Sheriff Joe Arpaio's Tent City jail.
Last July, Sanders held an event in Phoenix that drew 11,000 people.
