Arizona Voting: Fewer Than Expected Mailed In Ballots

Some observers said one factor that complicated Tuesday’s voting and added to those hours-long lines at polling places is that fewer Arizonans than expected mailed in their ballots early. So are people not as interested in voting by mail?

Paul Gronke, a political science professor at Reed College in Oregon and founder and director of the Early Voting Information Center, spoke about the topic.
