Researchers at Arizona State University have found a way to do more with less – on the farm. The work, which has been published in the journal Trends in Biotechnology, helps increase crops’ yield, while using fewer resources, like water and fertilizer.
Roberto Gaxiola has been working on this; he’s an associate professor at ASU dealing with the genetics and molecular biology of plants.
