Authorities say more than 20 people were attacked by bees Friday afternoon in central Phoenix. The attack happened at a strip mall near 32nd Street and McDowell Road, with many people getting stung multiple times.
Phoenix Fire Department said crews stabilized the scene by spraying the bees with foam. Most people were treated at the scene, but fire officials said a 24-year-old man was taken to the hospital.
There was no immediate word on his condition, and his name hasn't been released.
